Eclectica: In 2008 Eclectica celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Liz Wilson, having grown up in the antiques business, founded Eclectica in 1988 on a humble market stall in Camden passage. Her hand picked vintage jewellery from around the world soon became so popular that in 1996 she opened a boutique in Islington.
This tiny emporium had the atmosphere of a busy bazaar and was once described as a sweetshop for the soul! The shop ran successfully until the end of the lease saw its closure in 2007.
Today Eclectica is thriving in London’s West end. At John Lewis in Oxford street Eclectica continues to offer a huge selection of diverse and glamorous costume jewellery which is still accessibly priced and personally sourced by Liz.
