1950s Vintage Jewel Rhinestone Duette Brooch
Eclectica Vintage Costume Jewellery

Product Information
Fun and festive duette (or double clip) brooch dating from the 1950s. A duette brooch breaks apart in 3 pieces so that it can be worn as a brooch or as two dress clips. They were first introduced in the late 1920s to accentuate neck lines of dresses. Cartier were the first fine jewellery brand, then Coro followed with the costume jewellery. This beautiful slightly later version has large and small round rhinestones in imitation jewel colours including amethyst, sapphire, ruby and topaz.
There are some signs of wear to the plating on the back.
